Title: Inside Sales/Sales Support
JOB OBJECTIVE: Handle customer inquiries by phone, e-mail or fax relative to pricing and stock status, purchase order status, order changes, cancellations, complaints, RGAs, sample request adjustments, literature requests and other service needs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Able to type 50+ words/minute
• 3-4 years experience in an office setting
• Proficient data entry skills
• Strong computer skills
• Proven communication skills both verbal and written
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely, effective and professional manner. Provide stock status, pricing delivery and other information as requested by phone, fax or e-mail.
- Expedite orders as needed through appropriate departments and monitor the status of those items regularly.
- Suggest substitute or alternate products when necessary.
- Follow up on inquiries and contact distributors when necessary. Advise on shipping and delivery dates, delivery date changes, order and price changes and cancellations.
- Follow up on complaints and make any special required adjustments to meet customer's satisfaction.
- Provide information to answer inquiries about simple product usage referring technical questions to appropriate personnel.
